Job summary

Alpine F1 Team is seeking a Composite Technician – Assembly & Trimming in the UK. The role involves trimming, assembling and finishing composite components for Formula 1 parts, with responsibility for bond preparation and final quality checks.

This fixed-term contract runs until the end of 2027 and offers exposure to a world-class motorsport manufacturing environment. You will read detailed engineering drawings, work with aerospace-grade adhesives, and maintain strict quality and safety

Qualifications

• Experience trimming, assembling and finishing composite components.
• Ability to read and interpret detailed engineering drawings and trim instructions.
• Proficient with hand and power tools for precision work.
• Experience in motorsport or high-performance engineering is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Trimming, assembling, and finishing composite components per drawings and specifications.
• Carry out bond preparation with aerospace-grade adhesives.
• Ensure parts meet dimensional and cosmetic standards.
• Maintain quality and productivity in line with department targets.
• Identify, document and report non-conformances per procedures.
• Collaborate across departments to meet production deadlines.
• Adhere to health, safety, environmental and quality requirements.
