Job summary

McLaren Racing is recruiting for multiple roles within the Composite Laminating Team to support the build of McLaren Racing’s 2027 Formula One car at McLaren Racing Composites (MRC).

These roles involve production of high-performance composite parts and assemblies for our F1 team, mould preparation, operation of autoclaves and ensuring safe, prescribed processes. Strong communication and attention to detail are essential.

Qualifications

• Skilled composite laminator – previous experience in motorsport (especially F1) or aerospace is preferable
• Proactive, self-motivated and uses initiative, looks for the next task and offers solutions to problems
• High level of attention to detail
• Good communication skills – uses accurate and clear communication and demonstrates when information is understood

Responsibilities

• Production of F1 car components on current and future MCL cars
• Mould preparation, manufacture and maintenance
• Operation of autoclaves
• Work in a safe manner and to prescribed process
• Prove support to other teams as work load dictates
