Job summary

DoubleTree by Hilton St. Anne's Manor in Wokingham is seeking a Food & Beverage Assistant to join our Truly Talented team. You will work closely with the F&B leadership to support hotel success and guest satisfaction.

The role involves preparing beverages, setting tables, taking and delivering orders, and maintaining high cleanliness standards. Training and progression opportunities are available within a growing hospitality group.

Qualifications

• Truly passionate about the Hospitality Industry.
• Previous restaurant or bar experience in a busy environment is preferred but not essential.
• Excellent personal presentation.
• Good understanding of food hygiene and health & safety procedures.
• Ability to function independently with a minimum of supervision.
• Excellent communication skills, the ability to communicate verbally and in writing ;
• To be an enthusiastic team player with a flexible approach.

Responsibilities

• Preparing and serving any beverages requested by guests.
• Ensuring that all tables are set and ready for welcoming guests at all times.
• Ensuring that all guests’ orders are taken and executed in a timely manner.
• Ensuring that cleanliness is kept at the highest standards at all times in the Food & Beverage Outlets.
• Having good knowledge of the food and beverage menu.
• Responding to guests’ queries on the menu selection.
• Communicating any guests’ questions on the menu, the length of wait and product availability with the Food & Beverage and Kitchen teams, as well as any additional meal requirements, allergies, dietary needs, and special requests to the teams accordingly.
