Job summary

Bespoke Hotels in the Scottish Highlands is seeking an enthusiastic Food & Beverage Supervisor to join a busy hotel team. You will help run the restaurant, bar and events services, supporting and leading the F&B team to deliver outstanding guest experiences.

Live-in accommodation is available for the right candidate, with duties spanning service across restaurant, bar and breakfast, plus event support and potential Duty Manager duties as required.

Qualifications

• Previous supervisory experience in hospitality, restaurant, hotel or bar operations.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to lead and motivate a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Good organisational and time-management skills.
• Flexible approach to working hours, including evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Support the Food & Beverage Manager in the day-to-day operation of all F&B outlets.
• Supervise restaurant, bar, breakfast and event service to ensure high standards.
• Lead, motivate and train team members to deliver outstanding customer service.
• Ensure guest satisfaction by responding professionally and efficiently to enquiries, requests and complaints.
• Assist with staff scheduling, rota management and daily team briefings.
• Monitor service standards, presentation and cleanliness throughout all F&B areas.
• Support stock control, ordering, inventory management and wastage reduction.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, licensing regulations and health & safety procedures.
• Maintain accurate cash handling and end-of-shift procedures.
• Assist with conference, wedding and special event operations as required.
• Act as Duty Manager when required, providing leadership across the hotel operation.
