Job summary

Soho House is seeking a Club Manager who will lead the F&B operation on site, overseeing hospitality, facilities, member services and events. You will drive service delivery, staff development, and brand-aligned operational excellence in a profitable, safe, and well-organised environment.

With a focus on discretion and sophistication, you will inspire teams, manage daily operations, and maintain exceptional member and guest experiences across all touchpoints.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years of experience in a similar capacity.
• Ability to work in fast-paced, high-volume environments.
• Hospitable, approachable with strong customer service.
• Flexible shifts including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Train hourly staff on core values, roles, and service aspects.
• Lead training on Soho House food and drink programs (Cook House, House Tonic, Club School).
• Collaborate across departments to ensure seamless guest interactions and brand alignment.
• Support recruitment by identifying needs and participating in interviews with People & Development.
• Oversee onboarding and development of new team members for a confident, guest-focused floor team.
• Be visible on the floor, gather feedback, and report to kitchen and front-of-house teams.
• Ensure club team grooming and correct uniform as per standards.
• Update menus monthly and ensure accuracy at printing deadlines.
• Coordinate cross-department tasks to run the department efficiently.

Key duties…

• Ensure that hourly employees are trained on company core values, job roles, responsibilities, and technical and service aspects of the job
• Lead engaging training sessions on Soho House food and drink programs through storytelling, demos, and initiatives like “Cook House,” “House Tonic,” and “Club School.”
• Collaborate across departments to ensure every guest interaction is seamless, aligned with brand expectations, and delivered with consistency.
• Support recruitment efforts by identifying talent needs, participating in interviews, and evaluating candidates alongside People & Development.
• Oversee onboarding and development of new team members, ensuring the floor team is confident, polished, and guest-focused.
• Be visible on the floor and engaging with the members gaining feedback and noting any comments through the reporting channels and directly to the kitchen and front of house team
• Ensuring that members and guests have a great experience and resolving any issues before they depart
• Contact person for all staff for any requests and problems and being responsible and pro-active in problem solving
• To ensure that the club team is appropriately groomed and wearing the correct uniform in accordance with site and company standards
• Ensure the menus are updated monthly and are correct at time of printing, adhere to GM’s deadlines for menu printing
• Coordinate tasks and work with other departments to ensure that the department runs efficiently

What We Are Looking For...

• Minimum of 2+ years’ experience in similar capacity
• Thrive in fast-paced, high-volume environments and maintain calm, through quickly and effectively problem solving under pressure
• Must be hospitable, approachable, passionate about customer service and respectful towards colleagues and guests
• Must be able to demonstrate competency as outlined in the training schedule and Club School
• Must be able to work flexible shifts and schedules, including weekends and holidays as needed
• Ability to take direction, work in a team environment and autonomously
