Job summary

Heckfield Place is seeking a Host to join our Front of House team. You will coordinate reservations, welcome guests warmly, and manage table allocations with the Head Host. This role requires experience in high-end dining, strong attention to detail and proficient computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate reservations and table allocation with Head Host.
• Provide a warm, friendly and professional welcome to all guests.
• Manage reservations efficiently and allocate tables per shift.
• Liaise with other hotel departments to meet guest needs.
• Maintain knowledge of Heckfield Place and its operations.
• Participate in daily team briefings and food tastings when available.

Heckfield Place is a beautifully restored hotel on a 400-acre farm in the county of Hampshire, just outside of London. In Marle and Hearth restaurants, we prepare food and drink that celebrates simplicity, the seasons, and a sense of place. We're honoured to hold a green Michelin star at Marle

Front of House is currently looking for a Host to join our F&B Team.

Position responsibilities include but aren't limited to:

• Helping the Head Host to co-ordination of reservations and table allocation, by researching the customers and updating the Reservation system
• Provide a warm, friendly and professional welcome to all guests
• Manage table reservations in efficient and timely manner.
• Experience of working within, or desire to work within a high-end restaurants.
• Complete daily opening and closing procedures as per operating manual for all restaurant outlets.
• Liaise with other hotel departments to ensure guests needs are met and communicated in efficient and timely manner.
• Review all reservations for each shift and assign suitable tables.
• Maintain a good knowledge of all aspects of Heckfield Place and its operations.
• Have and excellent attention to detail with good computer skills.
• Excellent attention to details and personal presentation.
