Job summary

Sodexo is recruiting a Catering Supervisor to join the HMRC Glasgow team. You will supervise a small catering staff, ensure high food service standards, and support the Catering Manager in achieving targets.

The role requires catering experience, supervisory skills, good communication, and knowledge of food safety. You will manage stock, oversee audits, and ensure compliance with HACCP and health & safety policies while delivering excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• Previous catering experience.
• Experience supervising catering staff.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Basic numeracy and literacy skills.
• Computer literate and confident using IT systems.
• Understanding of relevant food safety and catering legislation.
• Willingness to complete all required training.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support a small team of catering staff.
• Ensure high standards of food service, hygiene and customer service.
• Deliver team briefings, training and support to catering staff.
• Manage stock, ordering, stocktakes and cash transactions.
• Complete relevant administration, audits and payroll information.
• Ensure compliance with HACCP, COSHH, food hygiene and health & safety requirements.
