ABode Canterbury is a stylish hotel in Canterbury, part of the Andrew Brownsword Hotels group, seeking a Food & Beverage Assistant to join our team on a full-time, on-site basis. You will work closely with front- and back-of-house colleagues to ensure guests have a memorable experience and value the friendly, team-driven culture we nurture.

No prior experience is required; personality and attitude matter most, and training will be provided to help you grow within our family of hotels.

• Assist in front- and back-of-house operations to deliver memorable guest experiences.
• Learn the menu to advise guests and make recommendations.

Job description

Location: ABode Canterbury is a stylish, four AA star 72‑bedroom boutique hotel on Canterbury High Street, which houses our own restaurant brand, Brasserie ABode.

For the commuters, Canterbury East and West train stations are just a few minutes’ walk away.

SERVICE CHARGE-We pay our team service charge each month! This service charge all goes into one pot, and 100% of that service charge is then shared amongst all the team at the hotel-every penny received is paid out to the team.

Service charge can be in the region of £115 a month (around £1375 per year) over and above base pay for a full time employee.

As a Food & Beverage Assistant you will work closely with both the front of house and back of house team, to ensure our guests not only have a wonderful time, but also make memories to last a lifetime.
