Job summary

The successful candidate will have an A Level 3 qualification in Early Years/Childcare, Paediatric First Aid, strong communication and teamwork, and a passion for early childhood development. Training and safeguarding are emphasized.

Qualifications

• Experience in child care settings or nurseries is desirable.
• Strong communication skills and a positive, proactive attitude.
• Understanding of the EYFS and child-centred practice.
• Paediatric First Aid qualification (or willingness to complete training upon appointment).
• A Level 3 qualification in Early Years/Childcare (or equivalent).
• Reliability, creativity and a team-focused approach.

Responsibilities

• Provide high quality care and education for children aged 0–4.
• Plan and deliver engaging, developmentally appropriate activities.
• Build warm, trusting relationships with children and families.
• Observe, assess, and track children’s progress in line with the EYFS.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain a safe, stimulating learning environment.
• Uphold safeguarding, health and safety, and nursery policies.
