Job summary

Crags Community School is seeking a Teaching Assistant EYFS to join their team on a permanent, part-time basis (32.5 hours per week). The school, part of Nexus Multi Academy Trust, is located in Maltby, near Rotherham, and serves a diverse primary school community with a strong inclusive ethos.

The successful candidate will support whole class lessons, small groups and one-to-one work with pupils, contributing to a caring, collaborative environment within Crags Community School.

Qualifications

• Has Level 2 or 3 or equivalent qualifications.
• Is inclusive and committed to ensuring all children realise their full potential.
• Has recent experience in an early years setting including pre-school.
• Has experience of working with children with a range of special educational needs.
• Can contribute to the development of the school and curriculum.
• Has a good sense of humour, is approachable, flexible and is able to work as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Working as part of a team supporting whole class lessons, group work and one to one with pupils.
• Part of a committed staff team who are motivated every day by improving the life chances of our children and young people.
