Job summary

Teaching Personnel Ltd. are recruiting an enthusiastic EYFS Teaching Assistant for a primary school in BL7 Bolton. The role is full-time and long-term, supporting children across the EYFS with play-based learning and development, under the guidance of the class teacher.

The ideal candidate will have a Level 3 Early Years qualification (or equivalent), previous EYFS experience, and strong communication and teamwork skills. DBS checks and safeguarding training are required.

• Previous experience in an EYFS setting is essential.
• Strong understanding of the EYFS framework and play-based learning.

Responsibilities

• Support children across the EYFS setting throughout the school day.
• Deliver and enhance high-quality continuous provision opportunities.
• Encourage learning through play, exploration, and child-led activities.
• Support children’s communication, social, emotional, and academic development.
• Work closely with the class teacher and wider EYFS team to create a stimulating learning environment.
• Provide 1:1, small group, and whole-class support as required.
