Job summary

Aspire People is partnering with a Leicester school to recruit an EYFS Teaching Assistant. You will support early years learners in a single school, Monday to Friday, building strong relationships with children, staff and the school community.

The role pays £105 per day and is ideal for someone passionate about helping children learn, develop and feel confident in the classroom. DBS Update Service is desirable, but not essential at application.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working with children is essential.
• Experience within an EYFS setting would be ideal.
• Level 2/3 childcare or Teaching Assistant qualifications desirable.
• Genuine passion for working with young children.
• Reliable, patient and a good team player.
• A valid DBS on the Update Service is desirable; willing to apply if not held.

Responsibilities

• Support learning in the EYFS classroom and help children develop basic skills.
• Assist with daily classroom routines and activities to ensure smooth delivery.
• Promote a safe, caring and inclusive environment for all pupils.
• Liaise with teachers and support staff to track progress and provide feedback.
