Job summary

St Laurence's CE Primary School, Chorley, is seeking an experienced EYFS Teaching Assistant Level 3 to join our happy Christian school and provide Higher Level Teaching Assistant support in EYFS for one day per week.

The post includes PPA cover, planning, teaching and marking across EYFS sessions. It requires recent EYFS experience and active involvement in school life and safeguarding.

Qualifications

• GCSEs English and Maths (A*-C) or equivalent.
• NVQ Level 3 or above relevant to the post (or equivalent).
• Desirable: NVQ Level 4 and Paediatric First Aid.

Responsibilities

• Provide EYFS Level 3 support with PPA cover for EYFS.
• Plan, teach and mark lessons for the sessions.
• Cover supervision for the class teacher when required.
