Job summary

TeacherActive is recruiting for Primary Teaching Assistants to work across Bradford and the surrounding areas. You will provide classroom support across EYFS, KS1 and KS2, from day-to-day bookings to long-term placements with potential permanent opportunities.

Ideal candidates will have experience with primary-aged children, a Level 2/3 TA qualification is desirable, and strong communication and behaviour management skills. Flexible roles and PAYE payments are on offer.

Qualifications

• Experience working with primary-aged children.
• Flexible or long-term classroom support experience is desirable.
• Good communication and behaviour management skills.

Responsibilities

• Support teachers with the delivery of classroom activities
• Work with pupils individually and in small groups
• Support phonics, reading, literacy and numeracy interventions
• Provide 1:1 support where required
• Support pupils with additional needs
• Promote positive behaviour within the classroom
• Adapt to different year groups and school environments

Education

Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification
