Job summary

New Directions Education is recruiting EYFS-qualified Teaching Assistants for September in Tameside. These full-time, long-term roles are with a primary school trust and offer support to children with SEND, including autism and language needs.

The ideal candidate holds EYFS Level 2/3 and demonstrates a nurturing, patient approach to helping youngsters reach their potential. Roles run Monday to Friday, 8:30am–3:30pm, across several welcoming schools within the trust.

Qualifications

  • A Level 2 or Level 3 EYFS qualification with experience in an Early Years setting.
  • Experience supporting children with SEND, particularly Autism, ADHD and speech & language needs.
  • A nurturing, patient approach with a passion for helping young children reach their full potential.

Responsibilities

  • Support children in EYFS, including those with SEND, to access learning and activities.
  • Work across a number of welcoming primary schools within the trust.
  • Provide ongoing support and collaboration with schools and New Directions Education to monitor progress.

Full Time | 8:30am – 3:30pm | Tameside Primary Schools

£465-£500 Weekly Pay (PAYE– No Umbrella Company)

New Directions Education is working in partnership with a well-established primary school trust in Tameside to recruit passionate and experienced Teaching Assistants for September.

The trust has a particular need for EYFS-qualified Teaching Assistants with experience supporting children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). These are full-time, long-term opportunities across a number of welcoming primary schools within the trust.

The ideal candidate will have:
  • A Level 2 or Level 3 EYFS qualification with experience in an Early Years setting.
  • Previous experience supporting children with SEND, particularly Autism, ADHD and speech & language needs.
  • A nurturing, patient approach with a passion for helping young children reach their full potential.
The role offers:
  • Full-time hours, Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 3:30pm.
  • Long-term opportunities across supportive primary schools within a respected Tameside trust.
