Job summary

Tradewind Recruitment LTD is seeking an Early Years Teaching Assistant in Salford to join a warm preschool setting. You will support the EYFS curriculum with children under 3, helping to create a safe, nurturing environment and promote key developmental milestones.

This full-time role runs Monday to Friday with school hours 8:30 am–3:30 pm. The ideal candidate holds a Level 3 qualification in Childcare/Early Years (or equivalent), with experience in the EYFS and a strong commitment to

Early Years Teaching Assistant

Location: Salford

Contract: Full-time (Monday to Friday)

Salary: £95 - £100 PAYE per day (dependent on experience)

Hours: 8:30 am to 3:30 pm

About the Role

As an Early Years Teaching Assistant in the Pre-School room, you will play a vital role in the early development of young learners, helping to lay the foundation for their educational journey. Working full-time, Monday to Friday, you will provide exceptional care and support to children under 3, ensuring a safe, engaging, and stimulating environment.

Key responsibilities

• Supporting the EYFS curriculum by delivering engaging and age-appropriate activities that promote learning and development.
• Creating a nurturing, welcoming, and safe environment where children can build their confidence and independence.
• Assisting with day-to-day routines, including meal times, personal care, and outdoor activities.
• Observing and assessing children's progress, maintaining accurate records, and providing feedback to parents and carers.
• Collaborating with the wider early years and school staff to deliver a seamless learning experience.
• Ensuring all safeguarding and health and safety protocols are followed at all times.

What We're Looking For

• A Level 3 qualification in Childcare/Early Years (or equivalent).
• Proven experience working within the EYFS, particularly with children under 3 years old.
• A passion for supporting children's early development and helping them reach key milestones.
