Position: Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Teaching Assistant
Location: Northampton

The Role

As an EYFS Teaching Assistant, you will support the class teacher in creating a safe, stimulating and engaging learning environment where every child feels valued and encouraged to reach their full potential.

Key responsibilities include:

• Supporting the class teacher with the planning and delivery of engaging, age-appropriate activities.
• Providing support for children's learning, development and well-being.
• Encouraging children's communication, language, social skills and independence.
• Supporting children through play-based learning, both indoors and outdoors.
• Helping to maintain a safe, welcoming and stimulating classroom environment.
• Promoting positive behaviour and building strong relationships with children, colleagues and parents.
