Job summary

Empowering Learning Ltd. is recruiting an EYFS Teaching Assistant for a welcoming primary school in Hulme, Manchester (M15). The role is full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:45am-3:45pm, starting 21/09/2026. You will support early years learners, assisting with activities, and helping create a nurturing classroom environment.

The ideal candidate will have EYFS experience, strong communication skills, and a patient, team-oriented approach to help children reach their potential within the EYFS framework.

Qualifications

• Experience working within EYFS is required.
• A passion for supporting young children's learning and development.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to work effectively as part of a team and be proactive.

Responsibilities

• Support children with learning and development across the EYFS curriculum.
• Work alongside the class teacher to deliver engaging, age-appropriate activities.

• Assist with classroom organisation and maintaining a positive learning environment.
• Help promote positive behaviour and good relationships within the classroom.

We are currently recruiting for a passionate and experienced EYFS Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming Primary School in the Hulme area of Manchester (M15).

This is a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated Teaching Assistant who has previous experience working within Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and is looking to become part of a supportive and nurturing school environment.

The Role

As an EYFS Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with the class teacher to support the learning, development and wellbeing of children within the Early Years setting.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Supporting children with their learning and development across the EYFS curriculum.
• Working alongside the class teacher to deliver engaging and age-appropriate activities.
• Providing support to individual children and small groups where required.
• Encouraging children's confidence, independence and social development.
• Supporting with classroom organisation and creating a positive learning environment.
• Helping to promote positive behaviour and good relationships within the classroom.
• Ensuring the safety and wellbeing of all pupils at all times.
