Job summary

Horizon Teachers is recruiting a Level 3 EYFS Practitioner in Kingston, London, on a long-term, full-time basis with an ASAP start. You will work within a welcoming early years setting, supporting children across EYFS and engaging them through play and structured activities.

The ideal candidate will hold a Level 3 EYFS qualification, have EYFS/nursery experience, and demonstrate strong communication and teamwork skills while maintaining safeguarding standards.

Qualifications

• Level 3 EYFS/Childcare qualification required.
• Experience in EYFS or nursery setting preferred.
• Enhanced DBS via Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
• Teaching roles require QTS or equivalent.

Level 3 EYFS Practitioner

We are currently recruiting for a Level 3 qualified EYFS Practitioner to join a welcoming early years setting in Kingston on a long-term basis, with an ASAP start.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate and nurturing practitioner who is committed to supporting children's early development and creating a positive, stimulating learning environment.

The role will involve:

• Supporting children across the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
• Planning and delivering engaging, age-appropriate activities through play and exploration.
• Supporting children's communication, language, physical, social and emotional development.
• Observing and assessing children's progress and contributing to learning journeys.
• Creating a safe, inclusive and stimulating environment.
• Building strong relationships with children, parents and colleagues.
• Supporting positive behaviour and encouraging children's independence and confidence.
• Following safeguarding and health and safety procedures at all times.

The ideal candidate will have:

• A Level 3 qualification in Early Years / Childcare.
• Previous experience working within an EYFS or nursery setting.
• A warm, caring and enthusiastic approach.
• Good understanding of the EYFS framework.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• A genuine passion for supporting young children's development.
• An enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or be willing to obtain one.
