The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage and be committed to delivering high-quality provision through a balance of purposeful play, high expectations and carefully planned adult-led learning. They will have a proven commitment to securing excellent outcomes in early reading through rigorous phonics teaching, alongside a strong focus on developing children’s early writing and mathematical understanding. We are looking for a warm, nurturing and inspirational practitioner who builds positive relationships with children, understands how young learners develop, and creates engaging, language-rich environments where curiosity and independence flourish. The successful candidate will be skilled in observation and assessment, able to adapt provision to meet the needs of all learners, and committed to inclusive practice. They will also be an excellent communicator who works collaboratively with parents and carers, recognising the importance of strong home-school partnerships in supporting children’s development. Above all, we are seeking someone who is enthusiastic, reflective, creative and ambitious for every child, with the energy and dedication to make a lasting difference in our EYFS setting.
