Job summary

Vision for Education is recruiting an EYFS Teacher to join a welcoming primary school in Tameside. The role focuses on delivering high-quality early years teaching and building children's confidence and early learning skills.

The successful candidate will hold QTS and have experience in UK primary or EYFS settings, with a passion for play-based learning and observational assessment to inform planning. Start date January 2027 for a Jan–July 2027 window.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) required.
• Experience in a UK primary school or EYFS setting.
• Experience in EYFS, Nursery or Reception preferred.
• Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework.
• Ability to plan, deliver and assess engaging learning.
• Good communication with colleagues, parents and pupils.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver creative, age-appropriate learning aligned with EYFS.
• Support development across the seven areas of learning.
• Create a stimulating classroom environment encouraging curiosity.
• Use play-based learning to develop communication, language, physical, social and emotional skills.
• Observe, assess and record progress to inform planning.
• Support children with different abilities and individual needs.
• Promote positive behaviour, confidence and independence.
• Work with teaching assistants, colleagues and parents.
• Ensure safeguarding, health and safety requirements are followed.
