Reception Teacher Responsibilities

  • Communicate with parents and guardians regularly, providing updates on children's progress and development.
  • Participate in school meetings, professional development opportunities, and school activities as required.

Reception Teacher Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field.
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Previous experience teaching in Early Years, particularly in a Reception class.
  • Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework and best practices in early childhood education.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to adapt teaching to meet the diverse learning needs of young children.
  • A team-oriented approach and flexibility to work collaboratively.
  • Commitment to continuous professional development in Early Years education.
