The Gordon Children’s Academy in Rochester is seeking an enthusiastic EYFS Teacher to join on a fixed term maternity cover basis. You will plan and deliver a creative, stimulating curriculum, support a safe, nurturing and inclusive environment, and uphold high expectations for achievement and behaviour.

The role may involve teaching across our Medway Hub, All Faiths Children’s Academy, Cedar Children’s Academy and New Horizons’ Children’s Academy in Chatham, with scale £33,280 - £52,000.

Job Summary: Are you looking for your next role in primary education?

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated EYFS Teacher to join The Gordon Children’s Academy on a fixed term basis This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in the continued development of our school, supporting our vision of making learning irresistible while providing a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment for all.

Our EYFS Teacher will be passionate about teaching and learning, have a positive outlook and excellent interpersonal skills. You will be an excellent classroom practitioner with high expectations for achievements and behaviour, with the ability to plan and deliver a creative and stimulating curriculum, dedicated to ensuring that all our children achieve their very best.

Although the successful candidate will be based at the Gordon Children’s Academy in Rochester, there may be the opportunity to teach across our Medway Hub incorporating All Faiths Children’s Academy and Cedar Children’s Academy, and New Horizon’s Children’s Academy in Chatham.

This role is offered on a fixed term basis to cover maternity leave until the end of the academic year.
