About The Role

We are looking for someone to:

  • Determine the strategic development of EYFS SEND policy and provision in the school
  • Be responsible for day-to-day operation of the EYFS SEND policy and coordination of specific provision to support individual pupils with SEND or a disability
  • Provide professional guidance to EYFS colleagues, working closely with staff, parents/carers and other agencies
  • Complete SEND funding applications and any other EYFS SEND admin
  • Plan and deliver effective interventions which ensure accelerated progress for targeted children
  • Set high expectations which inspire, motivate and challenge all pupils
  • Make a positive contribution to the wider life and ethos of the school
  • Communicate effectively with pupils, staff, governors, parents and carers
  • Uphold public trust in the profession and maintain high standards of ethics and behaviour, within and outside school

You will have to meet the requirements of the person specification in order to be offered the post and will be subject to an enhanced DBS check.
