Job summary

Remedy Education is seeking an Early Years/SEN Teaching Assistant for an Outstanding SEN Primary School in Brentwood. The role focuses on supporting EYFS learners with SEN in a nurturing, inclusive environment. Applications welcome from those with empathy, patience and prior SEN experience.

You will work closely with teachers to develop individualised support plans, monitor progress and foster social, emotional and academic growth, contributing to a supportive school community in Brentwood.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children with SEN is desirable.
• Empathy and patience in supporting learners.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Commitment to fostering an inclusive learning environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one and small group support for SEN students.
• Assist in developing and implementing IEPs.
• Collaborate with teachers to maintain an inclusive classroom.
• Support holistic development including social, emotional, and academic skills.
• Monitor progress and provide feedback to teachers and parents.
• Assist with classroom management and structure.
