Job summary

Remedy Education is seeking an Early Years/SEN Teaching Assistant for an Outstanding SEN Primary School in Ongar. You will support pupils in the EYFS with SEN needs, delivering one-to-one and small-group support, helping with IEPs, and promoting inclusive learning.

The role offers a welcoming, supportive team, ongoing professional development, and opportunities for a long-term contract. Start date is ASAP with safeguarding checks including a DBS.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children with SEN is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection is essential.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one and small group support to students with SEN.
• Assist in developing and implementing Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
• Collaborate with teachers to foster an inclusive classroom.
• Support social, emotional, and academic development of pupils.
• Monitor progress and provide feedback to teachers and parents.
• Help maintain a positive, well-organised classroom.
