Job summary

Academics is seeking a qualified Early Years Practitioner to work across primary schools, nursery settings and private day nurseries in Bromborough and the surrounding Wirral area. The role offers flexibility, with opportunities ranging from short supply to longer placements.

You will support learning through play, follow the EYFS framework, and help children develop communication, confidence and independence. Salary will be aligned with client pay policy and experience.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Caring, enthusiastic and nurturing personality.
• Experience with EYFS and 0–5 age range is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support children's learning through play and structured activities.
• Follow the EYFS framework and support developmental goals.
• Help children develop communication, confidence and independence.
• Create safe, engaging and stimulating learning environments.
• Support children's social and emotional development.
• Collaborate with teachers, nursery managers and other practitioners.
• Complete observations and contribute to development records.
