Job summary

Academics is looking for an Early Years Practitioner / EYFS Teaching Assistant to support children in Bromborough and surrounding areas. You’ll work in EYFS classrooms in primary schools, nurseries, and Reception settings, helping create a positive start to education.

Responsibilities include supporting learning through play, following the EYFS framework, and helping children develop communication, confidence and independence.

Qualifications

• Must have Level 3 Early Years / Childcare qualification or equivalent.
• Recent experience working with children aged 0-5.
• Experience within nursery, pre-school, Reception or EYFS settings.
• Good understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).

• Creating safe, engaging and stimulating learning environments.

Early Years Practitioner / EYFS Teaching Assistant - Bromborough

Location: Bromborough and surrounding areas
Pay: 95- 105 per day in schools / 14.50+ per hour in nurseries

Where Could You Work?

Depending on your experience and preferences, you could find yourself working in:

• EYFS classrooms within primary schools
• Nursery and pre-school settings
• Reception classes
• Private day nurseries

The Roles

As an Early Years practitioner, you'll help create the positive start to education that young children need.

Your responsibilities could include:

• Supporting children's learning through play and structured activities
• Following the EYFS framework and supporting developmental goals
• Helping children develop communication, confidence and independence
• Creating safe, engaging and stimulating learning environments
• Supporting children's social and emotional development
• Working with teachers, nursery managers and other practitioners
• Completing observations and contributing to children's development where required

What We're Looking For

We're particularly interested in candidates with:

• At least Level 3 Early Years / Childcare qualification or equivalent
• Recent experience working with children aged 0-5
• Experience within a nursery, pre-school, Reception or EYFS setting
• A good understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage
• A caring, enthusiastic and nurturing personality
• Strong communication and teamwork skills

Candidates with additional experience in SEND, ASD, speech and language, sensory needs or early intervention are also encouraged to apply.

Pay & Flexibility

School-based EYFS roles: 95- 105 per day, depending on experience and position.

Nursery opportunities: 14.50+ per hour, depending on qualification, experience and setting.
