Job summary

Protocol Education is recruiting an EYFS Specialist Teaching Assistant for a welcoming primary school in LS4, Leeds. The role is part-time with a conversation about full-time if requested, and offers a competitive daily rate and long-term opportunity.

You will support early years learning, deliver Little Wandle phonics sessions to individuals and small groups, monitor pupil progress, and contribute to assessments and learning journeys while collaborating with teachers, parents and wider school

Qualifications

• Experience in EYFS and phonics delivery.
• Ability to conduct and record EYFS observations accurately.
• Experience in small group support and phonics interventions.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Familiarity with Little Wandle programme.

Responsibilities

• Support teaching and learning across the EYFS classroom.
• Deliver Little Wandle phonics sessions to individuals and small groups.
• Monitor pupil progress and adapt support as required.
• Conduct observations in line with EYFS requirements.
• Contribute to assessments, learning journeys and development records.
• Support children's social, emotional and academic development.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents and staff.
