Job summary

Teach Plus Limited is seeking a caring Nursery Nurse for a welcoming primary school in Waltham Forest, starting September 2026. The role sits within the school's Early Years provision, supporting children's communication, independence and early learning through purposeful play.

You will work with the Early Years team to create a safe, nurturing environment, delivering engaging activities, observing progress and contributing to assessments, with a daily rate of £108–£115 depending on experience

Qualifications

• Level 3 qualification in Early Years/Childcare or equivalent is essential
• Previous experience in an Early Years or nursery setting is preferred
• Good understanding of the EYFS framework is desirable
• Enhanced DBS certificate with Update Service and right to work in the UK are required

Responsibilities

• Support children's learning through play and structured activities as a Nursery Nurse
• Assist with delivering engaging Early Years activities
• Support children's communication, language and personal development
• Observe children and contribute to assessments and progress tracking
• Create a safe, nurturing and stimulating learning environment
• Work collaboratively with teachers, practitioners and families
