Job summary

GSL Education is recruiting Nursery Practitioners for Manchester and Greater Manchester regions. Roles include Level 2 and Level 3+ qualifications with start ASAP, across full-time, part-time and flexible opportunities.

You will provide care for children 0-5, support EYFS learning, plan activities, and maintain a safe, inclusive environment while following safeguarding policies. Various locations across Manchester and surrounding areas.

Qualifications

• Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Early Years/Childcare.
• Solid knowledge of the EYFS framework.
• Caring, reliable and enthusiastic approach.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• DBS on Update Service desirable but not essential.
• Previous nursery experience desirable.
• 6+ months experience working with children.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality care and education for children aged 0-5 years.
• Support children’s learning and development in line with the EYFS framework.
• Plan and deliver engaging activities that promote learning through play.
• Build relationships with children, parents and colleagues.
• Maintain a safe, stimulating and inclusive learning environment.
• Observe, assess and record children’s progress where required.
• Follow safeguarding, health and safety, and nursery policies at all times.
