Job summary

TeacherActive is recruiting a Qualified Nursery Practitioner for private day nurseries across Manchester. The role is temporary with potential for long-term placements.

You will work with children aged 6 months to 5 years, delivering activities aligned with the EYFS framework and supporting their development through play and exploration. Applicants should have a Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification and at least 6 months experience in a nursery or childcare setting.

Qualifications

• A Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Early Years or Childcare
• A minimum of 6 months' experience working within a nursery or childcare setting
• Good understanding of the EYFS framework and the importance of learning through play
• A caring, patient and enthusiastic approach with a genuine passion for supporting children's development
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with children, families and colleagues
• Experience supporting children with SEND is desirable but not essential
