Job summary

Lincewood Primary School in Basildon is seeking an Early Years Educator/Practitioner to join our welcoming nursery team. The role supports children aged 3-4, fostering a safe, nurturing environment and helping them learn, develop independence and thrive.

The successful candidate will hold a Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification and have recent experience in an Early Years setting. This is a term-time, part-time position with responsibilities across the EYFS.

Qualifications

• Must hold a full and relevant Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification.
• Recent experience of working with young children in an Early Years setting.

Responsibilities

• Support children's learning and development in line with the EYFS.
• Provide high-quality interactions and engaging learning experiences.
• Act as a key person for a small group of children.
• Build positive relationships with children and their parents/carers.
• Support children's communication, independence and emotional wellbeing.
• Support children with additional needs and adapt provision to meet individual needs.
• Assist with personal care and daily routines where required.
• Prepare and maintain a safe, purposeful and engaging learning environment.
• Collaborate with Nursery and wider school team.
• Attend relevant meetings and training.
• Undertake other reasonable duties as directed by EYFS and Room Lead.

We are looking for a caring, enthusiastic and committed Early Years Practitioner to join our friendly and supportive school nursery team.

The successful candidate will hold a full and relevant Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification and have recent experience of working with young children in an Early Years setting.

Working with children aged 3-4 years, you will help provide a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment where children are supported to learn, develop their independence and thrive.

The role will include:

• Supporting children's learning and development in line with the EYFS.
