Job summary

New Directions Education Ltd in Wirral is recruiting a Level 3 Teaching Assistant (TA3) to support EYFS across the full school week, 10:30am–3:30pm.

Working closely with the class teacher, you will support learning through play, foster social and language development, and help create an inclusive, nurturing classroom environment. DBS checks and references required.

Qualifications

• Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent.
• Previous experience working within an EYFS setting.
• Strong understanding of the EYFS framework.
• Nurturing, patient, and enthusiastic approach.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents.

Responsibilities

• Support delivery of engaging EYFS learning activities.
• Work with individual pupils and small groups to reinforce learning objectives.
• Promote children’s communication, language, and social development.
• Help create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive classroom environment.
• Observe and monitor pupil progress, providing feedback where appropriate.
• Support positive behaviour management and encourage independence.
• Assist with classroom preparation and daily routines.
