Job summary

Education Matters Group is seeking a Level 3 Early Years Practitioner for a temporary-to-permanent role in Golders Green, London NW11. You will provide a safe, nurturing environment and support age-appropriate learning activities in line with EYFS, observing progress and fostering wellbeing.

You'll build strong relationships with children, parents and colleagues, promote learning through play, and ensure high standards of health, safety and safeguarding. DBS enhanced and references required.

Qualifications

• Level 3 Early Years/Childcare qualification or equivalent.
• Previous nursery or Early Years experience.
• Good understanding of the EYFS and safeguarding.
• Enhanced DBS and satisfactory references required.

Responsibilities

• Provide a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment.
• Plan and support age-appropriate learning activities in line with the EYFS.
• Support children’s learning, development and wellbeing.
• Observe and record children’s progress.
• Build positive relationships with children, parents/carers and colleagues.
• Promote learning through play.
• Maintain high standards of health, safety and hygiene.
• Follow safeguarding and child protection procedures.
• Work effectively as part of the nursery team.
