Job summary

Hazeldene School in Bedford seeks a Learning Support Assistant to assist in our Early Years setting, supporting pupils with diverse needs and working closely with teaching staff to tailor activities for individual learners.

You will contribute to a caring, dynamic learning environment during term-time (19h20 per week) with mornings and afternoons slots, starting ASAP. Training days and ongoing professional development are included.

Qualifications

• Experience of working in an EYFS setting or with young children
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively within a teaching team
• Experience supporting children in an educational setting is desirable

Responsibilities

• Provide personalised support addressing academic, personal, and social needs
• Assist in delivering educational activities tailored to individual student needs
• Support teachers inside and outside the classroom to enable pupil progress
