Acorn Nursery, part of Brighton and Hove City Council Family Hub Nurseries, is hiring a nursery practitioner to act as key person for a group of children.

You will build relationships with children and families, support learning through play, and deliver the EYFS. A Level 3 early years qualification and a DBS check are required.

The role is 37 hours per week, with set day and afternoon blocks, and offers induction and training, a generous pension, and flexible working arrangements.

Formación

• Minimum Level 3 in early years and childcare or an equivalent
• Experience delivering the EYFS and conducting observations/assessments
• Ability to meet the individual needs of young children and their families

Responsabilidades

• Act as key person for a group of children
• Build relationships with children and their families, supporting attachment
• Be a role model and inspiration to the children
• Support children's learning and development
• Carry out observations and complete assessments
• Support the setting's safeguarding commitment and follow child protection procedures
