EYFS Class Teacher
Location: Hackney
Start Date: September 2025
TLR may be available for experienced teachers

We are looking for a passionate, nurturing, and creative EYFS teacher to join a high achieving, welcoming and inclusive primary school community in Hackney. This permanent position offers an exciting opportunity for a dedicated teacher to inspire young learners at the beginning of their educational journey, starting in September 2025. It is suitable for ECTs and experienced teachers.

Role Overview – EYFS Class Teacher
As an EYFS Class Teacher, you will be responsible for:

  • Planning and delivering engaging lessons that support early development and ignite curiosity in young learners.
  • Creating a warm, stimulating classroom environment where every child feels safe, supported, and valued.
  • Encouraging the development of key skills in communication, language, literacy, and numeracy through hands-on and play-based learning.
  • Monitoring children’s progress and using formative assessments to tailor teaching to meet their individual needs.
  • Promoting children’s personal, social, and emotional growth, fostering confidence and independence.
  • Collaborating with colleagues, support staff, and parents to nurture a strong sense of community within the school.

Who We Are Looking For – EYFS Class Teacher
The ideal candidate will be:

  • A qualified teacher with UK QTS and experience in Early Years education.
  • A passionate and reflective practitioner who understands how young children learn best and values the importance of early education.
  • Knowledgeable about the EYFS Framework and committed to using play-based learning strategies.
  • Skilled in delivering phonics and implementing early intervention techniques.
  • A supportive team player who will contribute positively to the wider school community.
