Job summary

Boots Opticians is hiring a Retail Assistant to be the first and last point of contact for customers on the shop floor, building relationships and helping them find the right eyewear solution. You will participate in the industry-leading Step Into Optics training programme with hands-on experience and workshop-based learning.

The role involves dispensing, pre-screening activities, aftercare support, and performing administrative tasks while maintaining high store standards.

Responsibilities

• Ordering, dispensing and collection of glasses and contact lenses.
• Supporting with eye-tests and pre-screening activities.
• Providing aftercare support through repairs and adjustments.
• Completing operational and administrative tasks associated with dispensing prescriptions.
• Maintaining shop floor standards.
