Royal Berkshire NHS Foundation Trust in Reading is seeking an experienced Advanced Nurse Practitioner for Eye Casualty/Ophthalmology. This permanent Band 7 role offers a salary between £49,387 and £56,515 per year, with visa sponsorship available for eligible applicants.

You will work autonomously within Ophthalmology, focusing on Eye Casualty, performing high-level clinical assessments, and providing direct patient care, with opportunities to contribute to service improvements and professional

Formación

Proven experience as an Advanced Nurse Practitioner, particularly within Ophthalmology or Eye Casualty.
Autonomous practice with accountability and advanced clinical decision-making.
Ability to interpret diagnostic investigations including OCT and retinal imaging.
Current Non-Medical Independent Prescriber qualification.
NMC registration and relevant professional qualifications.
Eligibility for UK visa sponsorship for foreign applicants.

Responsabilidades

Assess patients at first contact in Eye Casualty/Ophthalmology.
Make complex clinical decisions based on expert assessment.
Deliver high-quality direct patient care.
Provide treatment using advanced clinical skills and non-medical prescribing.
Support AMD services and injectable/interventional procedures where appropriate.
Drive service improvements to meet KPIs, quality, and safety standards.
