Moorfields Eye Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an Enhanced Nurse Practitioner in the Corneal and External Disease service. The post is Band 7, full-time, with a strong focus on autonomous nurse-led care within a multidisciplinary ophthalmic team at City Road, London.

The role involves running corneal clinics, performing cross-linking procedures, interpreting imaging, and leading on new pathways while maintaining high standards of patient care and safety.

Formación

• Registered nurse with ophthalmic specialty training or equivalent.
• Experience in corneal external disease preferred.
• Non-Medical prescribing is desirable.

Responsabilidades

• Line manage staff within the service.
• Perform corneal collagen cross-linking surgery after competencies.
• Interpret corneal topography OCT scans to guide treatment.
• Lead nurse-led corneal/external disease clinics within protocols.
