Job summary

Boots Opticians in the United Kingdom is seeking a friendly Retail Assistant to join our store team. You will greet customers, listen to their needs and help them find the right eyewear solution while supporting dispensing and pre-screening activities.

Based in store, you will participate in Boots' Step Into Optics training programme, with workshop learning and on-the-job experience, and report to the store manager.

Qualifications

• Passion for customer care.
• Desire to learn.
• Experience in retail or clinical environment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Ordering, dispensing and collection of glasses and contact lenses.
• Support with eye-tests and pre-screening activities.
• Providing aftercare by repairs and adjustments.
• Completing operational and administrative tasks related to dispensing prescriptions.
• Maintaining shop floor standards.
