Fold Hill Pet is a family-owned pet food manufacturer near Boston, Lincolnshire, investing in growth and sustainability. We are seeking an Extruder Operative to drive production with a focus on quality, safety and efficiency in a team-driven environment.

You will operate extrusion equipment, conduct quality checks and collaborate to meet targets while maintaining a clean, safe workspace and supporting eco-friendly practices. A forklift licence is preferred and training provided.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar role within food manufacturing, production or comparable industry setting.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Your Role as an Extruder Operative

As an Extruder Operative, you will play a vital role in the smooth running of the production process, ensuring high product quality, maintaining safety standards and helping the business meet production targets. You will operate and monitor extrusion equipment within a clean and efficient workspace, contributing to a team-driven and sustainability-focused manufacturing environment.

• Maintain quality control checks throughout the production process.

• Keep work areas clean, safe and compliant with food manufacturing hygiene requirements.

What We’re Looking For:

• Previous experience operating extrusion machinery or similar equipment.
• Valid forklift licence.

• Ability to identify and troubleshoot production issues efficiently.

We have shifts available on a 3-shift rotation of days, afternoons and nights, (8-hour shifts) 06:30 – 14:30, 14:30 – 22:30 and 22:30 – 06:30.
