Job summary

Nicholas Associates Group Limited in Hereford is recruiting for Trainee Technicians / Packers and Lead Technicians / machine operatives to join a permanent manufacturing team. Full training will be provided on joining the company.

Duties include tool removal/fit on lines, safety checks, line startup/shutdown, material loading, quality checks, fault reporting and ongoing product quality assurance. This is a permanent role with enhanced benefits.

Responsibilities

• Correct removal and fitting of extrusion tools onto lines.
• Safely stripping and cleaning extrusion tools.
• Preparing lines for startup with basic safety and operational checks being completed.
• Preparing and loading the correct materials onto line.
• Safe and correct startup and shutdown of lines with full fault identification and reporting.
• Following master conditions and amending with approval where necessary to achieve correct product quality.
• Product quality and specification checks and first off approval.
• Fault finding and correction when product quality isn't met.

Do you have experience as a Machine operator or a manufacturing background looking to develop a new skill.
