Job summary

Trevett Services are working with a major corporate contract. Based in Boston Spa, Wetherby (LS23), they seek an Extra Works Supervisor with an electrical engineering background to manage contractors and health & safety on extra works projects as a stepping stone to a Project Manager role.

Hours are Mon-Fri 08:00–17:00, with a salary of £37,000–£38,000 and progression opportunities. On-site restaurant and comprehensive benefits are included.

Qualifications

• Level 3/apprenticeship equivalent in electrical engineering.
• 18th edition wiring regulations.
• Angle PM or Prince2 PMI cert would be nice but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Contractor supervision for teams of 2–18 people and health & safety management.
• Oversee extra works projects and liaise with site stakeholders.
• Progression path toward Project Manager.

Trevett Services are working with one of the World’s largest FM providers on a key corporate contract of theirs. Our client is looking to speak with Electrical Engineers who are thinking of coming off the tools.

The Role:

As an Extra Works Supervisor, you will be responsible for looking after all contractors which can be from 2 – 18 people, all health & safety management and all other extra works projects being carried out. This role is for someone who is looking to get off the tools and progress into a Project Manager.

Your hours of work will be Mon-Fri 08:00 – 17:00.

Qualifications & Experience:

Our client is seeking someone who has a level 3/apprenticeship equivalent in electrical engineering along with the 18th edition. Angle PM or Prince2 PMI cert would be nice as well but not essential.
