Job summary

Radis Community Care is seeking a Full Time Team Leader based in Exning, Newmarket. The role involves leading care packages, supervising staff, and balancing care with administration across a 37.5-hour week (9am–5pm) with shifts and office hours.

DBS check required; driving license desirable. You will oversee person-centred care, schedule tasks, assist with personal care and medications, and participate in the on-call rota as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Team Leader is desirable but not essential.
• NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care with progression toward Level 3 is expected.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to people we support’s needs.
• Enhanced DBS check required.
• Driving license with access to a vehicle is desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Be the first point of contact for care packages, offering supervision and guidance to Radis Staff through regular meetings and check-ins.
• Schedule and allocate care tasks, ensuring care plans and personal care/medication are followed.
• Support people directly with personal care, medication, and community-based activities when needed.
• Take part in the on-call rota and provide emergency cover for care-related support as required.
