Job summary

Willowbrook Homecare in Leyland is seeking caring Care Support Workers for our Extra Care Service at Jubilee Gardens. You will visit residents, provide personal care, assist with meals, repositioning and domestic tasks while supporting activities in the community and within the service.

The role offers induction and ongoing training, a supportive team, and flexible/contracted hours with competitive pay discussed at interview depending on experience.

Qualifications

• Experience in the care industry is preferable.
• Level 2 Qualification in Health & Social Care is preferable but not essential.
• Full induction/training will be provided to those new to care.

Responsibilities

• Visit residents in Extra Care Services as directed.
• Provide personal care to clients.
• Assist with meals, drinks, repositioning and domestic tasks.
• Share information with Team Leader/Manager and complete paperwork.
• Comply with company policies and participate in training programs.

The role:

We are recruitingkeen and enthusiastic Care Support Workers to work in our Extra Care Service, located in Jubilee Gardens, West Paddock, Leyland, to ensure that the residents’ needs are met with dignity, respect, and compassion, alongside supporting activities in the community and within our Extra Care Service.

Job specification

• Visit residents within our Extra Care Services, at times directed by care coordinators and management.
• Provide personal care to clients.
• Provide medication, meals/drinks, repositioning, and domestic support to residents.
• Share necessary and appropriate information with the Team Leader/Manager.
• Complete all necessary paperwork.
• Fully comply with Company policies, procedures, and approved practices, and promote the aims of the Company.
• Participate in induction training and regular in-service training programmes, as directed by managers or supervisors.
