Job summary

Regional Recruitment is seeking an External Sales Manager for a National Electrical Wholesaler's Redhill branch. The role focuses on growing sales in the branch area, developing new and existing accounts and building strong customer relationships.

The ideal candidate will come from electrical wholesaling or a sales background in electrical manufacturers, distributors, cables or lighting, and hold a valid UK driving licence. You will join a tight-knit team and have clear progression prospects.

Qualifications

• Experience in selling to businesses or field sales within electrical sector preferred.
• Able to identify and develop new and existing business accounts.
• Willing to work in a branch-based external sales role in Redhill.

Job description

My client is a National Electrical Wholesaler with well over 100 branches Nationwide. They are looking for an External Sales Manager for their Redhill Branch.

The candidate will need to be working for an existing Electrical Wholesaler, or as a Sales Representative for an Electrical Manufacturer, Electrical Distributor, Electrical Cable Sales or Lighting company.

The Role of Sales Manager:

• Growing and increasing sales in the branch's geographical area.


• Continually identifying and developing new and existing business accounts.


• Developing strong customer relationships to maximise the full potential of all accounts


• The ability to not be afraid of rejection, be it on the phone or face to face.


• Working as part of a tightly knit team to achieve high standards of business excellence.

Essential Sales Manager Skills:

• Cold calling on the telephone and in person willingness and tenacity


• The ability to approach companies direct, understanding how to spot a suitable target company


• Able to demonstrate sample products confidently face to face to potential clients


• The ability to build and sustain professional relationships.


• The ability to independently plan, organise and work to tight deadlines.


• Smartly presented portraying a professional company image


• A valid UK driving licence
