Job summary

Boehringer Ingelheim is seeking an experienced External Reporting Accountant to join the FACT team in Bracknell. The role focuses on external reporting activities, transfer pricing, and Voluntary Scheme reporting, acting as a key financial business partner to designated functions.

You will support statutory and corporate financial requirements and deputise for the External Reporting Manager, helping maintain accuracy of balance sheets and P&L while ensuring compliance with UK and international

Qualifications

• Degree-level education with professional accounting qualification (ACA/CA/ACCA).
• Strong application of accounting standards, tax knowledge, and Voluntary Scheme regulations.
• Proven experience in statutory accounts preparation and audit.
• Knowledge of UK and German GAAP; SAP ERP experience; advanced Excel and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Identify financial issues and provide analysis to Finance and Business Management.
• Drive UK and Ireland statutory accounts and German GAAP adjustments.
• Coordinate external audit processes and act as liaison with Group Auditors.
• Support Voluntary Scheme reporting and related audits.
• Assist reporting to Pricing Committees and collaborate with Health & Social Care as required.
• Maintain Transfer Pricing policies and documentation with the Tax Manager.
• Perform monthly/quarterly reviews of statements and provide management commentary.
• Advise on financial implications of projects and ad hoc reporting needs.
• Contribute to Finance team knowledge sharing and capability development.
