Job summary

Mitie Group plc. is seeking an External Operative to deliver high cleaning standards at Bullring & Grand Central Shopping Centre. The role is full-time, 40 hours per week, paid £12.82 per hour, based at the shopping centre.

You will follow cleaning schedules, meet SLAs, maintain equipment, and work confidently in a team or alone while delivering excellent customer service and complying with health and safety requirements.

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate and read basic English.
• Previous cleaning experience is desirable but not essential.
• Flexible and proactive approach to work.
• Open, honest, self-driven, and determined attitude.
• Reliable and hardworking with a professional demeanour.

Responsibilities

• Ensure equipment is kept clean, well maintained, and in safe working order.
• Meet all agreed SLAs and follow cleaning schedules.
• Build knowledge of the designated cleaning area and understand cleaning equipment and chemicals used.
• Follow Health and Safety requirements and complete all required training.
• Work effectively within a team and independently, delivering excellent customer service.
